Short test
The short test serves to ascertain wheter your case is suitable for refractive surgery. You will also receive an individualized documentation folder to accompany you during the different steps from preliminary examination to final control.
Duration: about 25-30 minutes
Costs: starting at CHF 20.-

Preliminary examination
Performance of the most thorough and  comprehensive test of all optical, anatomical, physiological and medical parameters relevant for the treatment (including corneal and ocular wave-front measurements). Our physician informs you whether a treatment represents a valid option in your case and, if yes, discusses the most adequate method of treatment for you.
Duration: about 2 hours
Costs: CHF 420.-

Simulation of various possibilities for the correction of presbyopia
If you want to have your presbyopia treated, we can simulate the result of the treatment beforehand.
Costs: CHF 450.-

All laser treatments include the correction of the corneal deformation, independently of the power of the correction required.

Basic Laser PRK
(analogous to LASEK, EPI-LASIK, C-TEN)
Removal of outermost cell layer (epithelium), correction of sight defect with the Excimer laser.

Standard LASIK
Flap formation by incision with a microkeratome into the outermost layer of the cornea, correction of sight defect with the Excimer laser.

FEMTO-LASIK
(latest FEMTO technology)
Flap formation with the femtosecond laser, correction of the sight defect with the Excimer laser.

Implantation surgery
(artificieal lenses)
Correction of the sight defect by implantation of an invisible artificial lens.
Costs per eye: starting at CHF 5,000.-

Wave front
Often, further improvement of the visual acuity is possible by wave-front correction (correction of higher-degree refraction errors). If diagnostically pertinent and if you wish to have such a correction performed, we charge a lat sum for the required time and technical expenditures.
Costs per eye: CHF 600.-
