Information
We organize numerous info sessions, where our surgeons are present and ready to answer all your questions. You will find the dates of the next info sessions on this site under Infosessions .
If you want to submit your questions directly, we will be glad to answer them at our free hotline 0800 000 903. But of course you can also get to know us personally by making an appointment for a short test.
Short test
The short tests fulfills the purpose of finding out whether a treatment by refractive surgery is possible at all in your case. It is not necessary to avoid wearing contact lenses for this test, and your eyes will not be treated with eye drops. During the test we measure the most important parameters of your eyes in order to determine whether it would make sense to submit you to the detailed preliminary examination (during which all the data necessary for an operation are collected). See Dates for short test
Detailed preliminary examination
The detailed examination serves the purpose to evaluate precisely the possibility to perform a surgical treatment. This examination lasts about one and a half hour. Numerous medical and optometric parameters are recorded, but there will also be enough time for all your questions and queries to be answered. In order not to falsify the results of the measurements, you will be asked not to wear contacts for a certain time before the examination. After the detailed examination, the surgeon will tell you which method is the best suited in your case.
Decision
After the detailed examination, you will know with which method your sight defect may be corrected. You will have been informed about the resulting costs and you will be handed out important documents for you, as well as the informed consent form for the treatment. You will then be in a position to make your decision without any haste.
